Summary: The amenities at the W were well worth it (except for the fact that the pools closed at 7pm sharp). The location was perfect, an easy walk to everything. The balcony view was spectacular. The kitchen has high-end appliances and all you need (although it could use more spoons). Very comfortable overall. The check-in process requires you communicate prior to arrival, meet someone in the lobby, take care of valet and parking issues, and help you to the rental unit. No matter what, the amenities at the W were well worth it!
